What’s Your Website Really Worth? (It’s More Than You Think)

Discussion about website return on investment

Hey there, if you’re reading this, congratulations! We’re about to embark on a powerful journey together. My bold promise: It’s going to be more popular (and more beneficial) than AI.

Over the next few weeks, the RedTree team will share actionable, step-by-step tips on supercharging your website into the optimal sales tool it’s always had the potential to become. No bullshit. No gimmicks. No upsells.

This week, we’re focusing on a surprisingly complex question:

What’s your current website ROI?
(In other words: “What value is your website bringing to your business?”)

Don’t know off the top of your head? That’s OK. Here’s a primer from Meesha and Alyssa:

How to check your website ROI right now:

  1. Determine how many leads and sales were generated through your website in the last 90 days (estimates are OK).
  2. Add up your profits on those sales and projected additional revenue based on your average close rate and deal size (for leads that haven’t closed yet).
  3. Add up your website costs from the last 90 days (e.g., hosting, apps, dev expenses, ads, etc.), and subtract them from your profits.

Remember: ROI isn’t always financial. As we mention in the video, sometimes your goals revolve around branding, credibility, visibility, or something else that doesn’t immediately impact the bottom line.
