Is Your Website Falling Behind Competitors?

Look Around Before Moving Ahead

Have you ever heard the saying “comparison is the thief of joy”?

Well, if you haven’t, you’re welcome. But here’s the thing: that advice doesn’t quite apply to digital strategy.

We’re not talking about copying. We’re talking about strategy. Awareness. Clarity.

In this week’s video, Meesha and Kait break down how we use competitor websites to sharpen our own, from spotting gaps to identifying visual patterns that build trust.

Here’s what to pay attention to:

  • Storytelling: Are they clear about what they do and who they serve? How does your story stack up?
  • User experience: Is information easy to find? What does the flow feel like?
  • Visual consistency: Do their colors, layouts, and imagery reinforce the message? Or is it chaos?
  • Inspiration: Even sites outside your industry can spark ideas. Notice what draws you in and why.

Then ask yourself:
Where could your brand narrative be more precise, stronger, or more differentiated?

Not sure what to do with what you uncover? That’s where we come in.

With Gratitude,
The RedTree Team
