Fierst Distributing had a perfectly functional website, but looked to us to better show off the high quality of their company, manufacturers and projects in their site redesign.
Since 1949, Pittsburgh-based Fierst Distributing has provided high quality flooring and exceptional service as a regional wholesaler. We’ve worked with this innovative company for years, and recently reimagined their website to spotlight their products’ quality, highlight their remarkable people and enable easy updates.
GOAL | Demonstrate the value and quality of Fierst products
As flooring experts, their finished work speaks for itself. We created a beautiful interactive projects page to showcase their large portfolio and also attract a younger demographic. Users click on the pictures to zoom in, and hot spots allow them to get manufacturer, material and color information.
GOAL | Highlight Fierst’s people power
In addition to showing Fierst’s expertise through their portfolio, we also put the spotlight on their talented team with a new section, “Our People.” A filter makes searching by department easy, and a simple hover displays contact information. Above this, “Fun Facts” points out team members’ experience.
GOAL | Move to a new system for easy updates
Updates keep websites fresh and functional. To create a platform that could easily handle updates, we migrated to a new system. We now ensure that the software is up-to-the-minute, providing a clean and enjoyable user experience, and helping Fierst floor their clients again and again with incredible options.
