Alyssa Moore

Web Strategist

For me, design isn’t just about making something look good — it’s about creating an experience that guides, engages, and builds trust. I care about making websites that actually work for people, paying attention to how users think and move through a site. By digging into the psychology of design, I aim to create experiences that feel clear, welcoming, and genuinely useful, especially for mission-driven organizations.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time adventuring with my partner (who also happens to be my best friend) and our two wild kiddos — lovingly known as the Chaos Crew. I’m a year-round Halloween enthusiast (yes, I start counting down at 365), love a good farmer’s market or camping trip when Pennsylvania weather cooperates, and never say no to iced coffee. In an unexpected twist (courtesy of my nerdy partner), I’ve also embraced a love for D&D — the perfect mix of creativity and escape from reality.

Education:

The Art Institute of Pittsburgh — Graphic Design

Something you’re passionate about:

I’m most passionate about uncovering the story behind each organization and turning it into a website that truly connects with people. Helping mission-driven organizations extend their reach and better serve their communities feels like the best possible use of that art school diploma (even if my younger punk self once thought it would go toward designing album covers). Beyond work, that same passion shows up in how I live — whether it’s raising my kids to be kind and curious, seeking out moments of connection in everyday life, or never giving up on the belief that small acts of creativity and care can ripple outward to make a bigger difference.

Favorite quote:

“The world changes according to the way people see it, and if you can alter, even by a millimeter, the way a person looks at reality, then you can change it.”
