As Bally Design approached their 50th anniversary in business, they decided to celebrate with a new website that highlighted their status as an award-winning design company. But after meeting with the RedTree team, they ultimately decided to work with a competing agency, despite them being at a higher price point. 

Unfortunately, they hated the results. Bally Design complained the new website:

  • Didn’t accurately represent their brand
  • Didn’t represent their unique value proposition
  • Was too dark to align with the company’s personality

Just as problematic: The site was built inside a complicated web platform that was too difficult for the Bally Design team to manage on their own, creating additional site maintenance hurdles. 

Frustrated by the results, the team returned to RedTree Web Design and asked for a second opinion. 

THE SOLUTION

A Redesign With the Brand In Mind

We immediately slipped Bally Design into our BLOSSOM program to quickly align their website with their branding guidelines and user personas. 

Our first step: Rebuild the entire website inside WordPress so the Bally Design team felt more comfortable making site updates, which would give them more flexibility to grow. 

From there, we began making incremental improvements to the website to better match the Bally Design brand, including:

  • We enhanced the site architecture to better serve site visitors. 
  • We added CTAs to increase conversions and improve the user journey. 
  • We redesigned page headers to showcase the brand value and remove many of the darker elements from the original design. 
  • We wove consistent messaging into the site to highlight what makes Bally Design different. 
  • We made case studies an integral part of the conversation around Bally Design’s services.
