Microinteractions

We’ve been doing this for years and didn’t even realize there was a word for it. We’ve always been a fan on subtle but powerful interactions with visitors. The Pop-up that shows up as soon as you visit the website is anything but subtle. Although, if you have an article and there is a trigger that pops up at the very end saying, “Like this article? Get notified of others,” and this has an email field, that is a good Microinteraction. You always want to make sure that you’re guiding them to where you want them to go, not yelling the directions.
